Bohnstedts in Brandenburg and Berlin

Mormon records revealed many Bohnstedts and Bohnstaedts in the Brandenburg region of Germany during the 1700s and 1800s. Some of these families lived in Berlin, while others lived in the city Brandenburg. In many cases it is uncertain whether the records are referring to the city of Brandenburg, or the duchy of Brandenburg, probably the latter.

It is possible that these Bohnstedts were related to the "Prussian" Bohnstedt family discussed in Part 1, but unlikely, since Edgar Bohnstedt would have known about such individuals and families, and would have found a connection with his own family lines, if any existed.

At the time of this writing it was unknown how these Bohnstedts and Bohnstaedts in Berlin and Brandenburg might have been related to other Bohnstedt families.
